HOW I FOUND KPTEC: I have been familiar with kptec from the very early stages of my career, as I completed my industrial mechanic apprenticeship here at the company. After my training, I went abroad for several months in order to then complete my „Fachhochschulreife“ (advanced technical college certificate). It was always my wish to come back to kptec, and so I returned to work as an internal cylindrical grinder in order to complete my integrated degree programme here at the company. MY DAILY DUTIES AT KPTEC One side of my day-to-day responsibilities is all about CIP and digitalisation projects within the entire organisation.

The other side revolves around the coordination and monitoring of production orders and the management and monitoring of external processing as well as the procurement of raw materials and operating resources.

WHAT MAKES MY JOB CHALLENGING:

Working in an exciting environment with interesting and motivated people – both on the customer/supplier side and within the team – who are not satisfied with simply accepting the first solution that comes along.

HOW I BALANCE MY LIFE AFTER WORK: For me, the perfect way to maintain my work-life balance is by riding my bike and spending time on the football pitch with my friends. I also like to go on short trips on the weekends. In addition, my two cats play a big role in helping me keep my work-life balance in perfect harmony. WHAT MAKES ME LAUGH, EVEN ON A BAD DAY: I can salvage even the worst day by watching the comedian Olaf Schubert’s videos. I LIVE BY THE MOTTO: Every problem has a solution!
